Katie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting, which she completed at OCAD University in 2021. Despite specializing in painting, she considers herself a multimedia artist and wants to pursue artistic endeavours beyond traditional painting practices. Her most recent bodies of work focus on issues of self sabotage vs. preservation, identity, and belonging. Throughout the development of her artistic practice, Katie has participated in group shows and created commissioned pieces for clients. 

In 2023, Katie decided to return to school and is currently completing Humber College's Furniture and Cabinetmaking Techniques program.
